Summary:
This pilot study examined 46 middle-aged or older adults with HIV-related cognitive decline and found that the cohort that completed 10 hours of Posit Science training performed better on a variety of cognitive measures and daily activities as compared to an untrained control group. The study demonstrated that speed of processing training may improve cognitive and everyday functioning in this growing population.
